22d International Day, October 16, 2011.-- Long-time preacher Jim Pounders, currently serving as Development Officer for Healing Hands International (HHI), will be our speaker in the morning and evening worship services. International Day is our annual observance and celebration of the diversity of the church throughout the world and, in particular, at University Park. Following the morning service, we enjoy a covered dish lunch for which our members prepare foods representative of their homelands. HHI is a Christian humanitarian relief organization with the purpose of helping suffering people around the world through water development, food development, disaster relief, medical programs and educational programs. Everyone is invited to come on October 16 and spend the day with us.
